Annaglow - Your solution worked like a charm! Thank you! Tuesday, April 1, PM. Just wanted to say thank you, this fixed my issue as well. I had the meeting reminder that would not go away and by changing views and deleting it, I'm cured. Friday, August 8, PM. This has worked for me, but what I usually do now is search for the exact appointment, then just delete every one that comes up. If it says you can't delete because the information doesn't exist, you know you've got it.
Then I just recreate the other appointments. Thanks for the feedback! Monday, August 11, PM. I had the same problem where the calendar event no longer existed.

Friday, October 17, PM. This solution works. Note This step is not required for Outlook and later versions, as the recurrence administration settings are included in the main template. Locate the policy node, depending on your Outlook version. For Outlook and later versions: Under User Configuration , expand Administrative Templates , expand your version of Microsoft Outlook , expand Outlook Options , expand Preferences , expand Calendar Options , and then select Recurring item configuration.
Double-click the Disable the 'No end date' option for recurring items policy to configure this policy. In the dialog box for the policy, click Enabled to enable the policy.
Note This will disable the No end date option for new recurring items. Double-click the Specify total number of days in a recurring meeting or appointment policy to configure this policy. Using this policy, you can specify the default number of days after which a recurring meeting or appointment not task will end.
When this policy is enabled, the 'End by' setting in the recurrence pattern is used as the default configuration for a recurring meeting.
Therefore, depending on your recurrence pattern daily, weekly, monthly , the number of meetings that occur during this period can vary. If you select Weekly for the recurrence pattern, you will get 26 meetings during this timeframe. However, if you specify Monthly for the recurrence pattern, you will only get 6 meetings during this timeframe.
I have a user running Outlook and she had 3 Calendar events that were deleted their time has past but the Reminders for each of these events are still in the system somewhere!
She can't click on Dismiss, Snooze or Open Item i. Please help as now she is also getting errors when she tries to sync her Outlook Calendar with her BlackBerry and we suspect it may be due to these 'deleted' events still floating around somewhere in her Outlook And for the record, she is running XP Pro and Office with all the latest service packs and fixes from Microsoft.
