It is important that there be representatives of the various associations of the indigenous people of the North, including Vice-President of the Russian Association of Indigenous Peoples of the North. Warming processes are occurring everywhere on earth, but in Arctic zones, the change is much more drastic. Therefore it is vital to study these processes to understand the current situation and forecast, and to develop methods for mitigating the effects of climate change and help the population to adapt to new conditions.

Tomsk has the resources to become the center of education for Indigenous peoples of the North on the same side of the Ural Mountains.

As noted by Yury Hatanzejsky, Deputy Governor of Nenets Autonomous Okrug for Indigenous Peoples Affairs, Indigenous peoples live off traditional trades that are most affected by the changes in climate and environment.

When not working, Tony enjoys getting outdoors with his family. Current research interests cover the influence of assessment on learning teaching process, ESP assessment, advanced methods in EFL, project-based learning and teaching, and various topics in applied linguistics research, including vocabulary acquisition, methods and techniques in corpus linguistics. Alexander is a senior testing specialist and an English Instructor at TPU whose research interests include teaching ESP and foreign language as a factor of social adaptation.

I was born in Tempe, Arizona, but I spent of my life living in northern Arizona in a small mountain town called Prescott. I graduated from Arizona State University with a B. I am currently pursuing my M. Aside from my academic studies, I also enjoy learning about horticulture, agriculture, and religion. I am a native Coloradan, and I enjoy spending my time in the outdoors, especially hiking, camping, and growing flowers and vegetables in my garden!

I spend as much time as I can with my family and friends, enjoying the simple pleasures of life with them. I have been in Fort Collins, Colorado since beginning graduate school two years ago.

I really enjoy the accessibility to the outdoors here, with beautiful views of the Foothills and the Rocky Mountains.

My other interests include running, bicycling and hiking; and also visiting my mother, friends and goddaughter. I thoroughly enjoy visiting other countries and have done so throughout the years. Lastly and most importantly, I married my best friend, Zane, and it is a great honor to be a mom to two adorable boys, Isaiah and Monty.

Daybooks is kind of a unique series among K reading programs. The texts are a combination of high interest fiction and nonfiction works, and they provide some good variety of themes and genres. Student textbooks are in a journal-like format with a space on each page for students to record observations or questions they have about the texts.
