Checkpoint vpn securemote windows 7

Ok, this very alarming. I know that Secure Client is dead, but I have a need to run VPN clients on VSX gateways and from what have read End Point connect requires a standalone server to do something with the client configuration, this will not do, I refuse to buy another product when I already have one but it doesn't work on 64bit OS's. I may be wrong but I have spent more then an hour reading and searching for how to make end point connect, connect with with my VSX gateway which is configured for Secure Remote and the client cannot make a connection, it fails.

This kind of tells me that the client does not connect directly to the gateway or I need more software on the gateway or I need another server running another CP product. I'm actually pissed right about now, cause nothing I have read so far describes a migration plan to 64bit OS's or moving off Secure Client to some other CP product. Otherwise I have to tell a couple of customers they are SOL for all 64bit operating systems, and start using our Cisco solution that they fought me on in the first place.

Endpoint Connect is Check Point's lightweight remote access client. Oh it appears that it will work but the client will not connect and tracker says this see below.
